Before we open the doors to The Briar & Lantern, we’re setting the table...

This fall, you’re invited to three very special evenings inspired by the world we’re creating at Briar & Lantern. Beautiful tea, thoughtful food, old books, changing seasons, a little mystery, and the kind of table you want to linger around long after the last cup has been poured.

Each gathering will have its own menu, teas, and atmosphere, beginning with the dark romance of an English manor at dusk, moving into the warmth of autumn, and ending with a beautifully eerie All Hallows’ Tea.

These aren’t quite Briar & Lantern yet because we won't open until the fall.

But they are the beginning.

And we’d love for you to be there!

THE MANOR AT DUSK (CLOSED!)

Dark Academia Meets High Tea

Our story begins at dusk.

Think old English manor, dark libraries, dusty rose, candlelight, antique books, velvet, beautiful china, and just a touch of gothic romance.

You’ll enjoy a full three-tier high tea created especially for the evening, with seasonal sweets and savories alongside carefully selected teas.

Moody. Romantic. A little mysterious.

September 18 • 7 PM

An Autumn Gathering

By September, autumn has arrived at "Briar Manor."

The table warms with fallen leaves, burnt copper, moss, pumpkins, candlelight, rich florals, and all those cozy autumn colors we’ve been waiting for.

A completely new three-tier menu of seasonal sweets, savories, and teas will be waiting at the table.

Warm, abundant, and just a little dark around the edges.

ALL HALLOWS’ TEA

October 9 • 7 PM

A Sophisticated Halloween Tea

For our final evening, we’re letting things become a little darker.

All Hallows’ Tea brings together old-world Halloween, candlelight, ravens, curiosities, deep plum, black lace, antique silver, and just enough mischief.

Expect one final and completely new three-tier menu and tea selection created especially for the evening.

Just a beautifully gothic and eerie evening of tea after dark.

You’ll also receive an individually numbered Briar & Lantern Founding Supporter Card, with one complimentary standard cup of tea waiting for you each month during our first year after opening.

And yes, these evenings are part of helping us bring Briar & Lantern to life.
